Yzma is the main antagonist of the 2000 Disney animated slapstick comedy film The Emperor's New Groove. She was voiced by the late Eartha Kitt.

Why She's Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant

1. She is one of the most humorous villains to emerge from a Disney film. She is cleverly inspired by various Looney Tunes characters.
2. Eartha Kitt did an amazing job voicing Yzma. Mark Dindal was a good soundalike for her cat form in the movie. It went on to the point that Yzma is one of Kitt’s most well known roles alongside Catwoman.
3. A lot of her quotes are very memorable including “Pull the lever, Kronk!”, “What? A llama? He's supposed to be dead!” and “It's brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, I tell you!”
4. Her transforming into a cat at the end is very unexpected and funny. It served as a clever Actress Allusion to Catwoman from season three of Adam West’s Batman.
5. She comes up with clever plans by her laboratory.
6. Her character design is amazing and is based on her voice actress.
7. At the very beginning, she rightfully gets fired after Kuzco learned that she's taking his job.
8. Her secret lab is unique and it comes with two levers with one of them trapping the visitor into an alligator pit.
9. Despite her very old age, she is very flexible.

Bad Qualities

1. Her facial expressions can be creepy to watch, which is no wonder why people including Kuzco say she's scary beyond all reason.
2. She gets easily bothered by Kronk and puts him down frequently. She even admitted to him that she doesn't like his spinach puffs.
3. She attempts to kill Kuzco by poisoning him. Luckily, Kronk replaced it with a llama potion.
4. She got flanderized by Kronk’s New Groove and The Emperor’s New School.
5. It isn't explained how many years she lived. Kuzco joked that proof that dinosaurs roamed the Earth because of how old she is. She also hit her stride fifty years ago.
6. It isn't explained how she and Kronk arrived to the lab before Kuzco and Pacha did, even they don't know how they got to the lab.

• Eartha Kitt reprised her role in the video game and Activity Center game.
• Eartha Kitt was originally going to sing a reprise of Perfect World but was scrapped for slowing down the pacing.
